Introduction | I graduated from Syracuse University and Harvard Law School, where I met my husband. After clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, I practiced law in Washington, D.C. for a few years. We moved to Kentucky in 1996. I've spent the last decade raising my three boys and writing, including a conservative political column for the Voice-Tribune in Louisville. When the column ended earlier this year, readers told me that they missed it -- and the opportunity to get a conservative perspective in Kentucky unavailable elsewhere -- so I started this blog. The opinions expressed here are my own, and do not necessarily represent the views of any organization with which I am affiliated. I now practice law at Landrum & Shouse in Louisville, KY focusing on white collar criminal defense and complex litigation. I was lead counsel for Sen. Rand Paul in his amicus brief challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare in the Supreme Court of the United States. I write a column for the Courier-Journal every third Wednesday. |
