My love affair began at age 5 with a collie named Dixie. I befriended all I encountered. My travels ranged from the plains of Africa to the wilderness of Alaska. Many of my life experiences occurred in Texas where I raised and trained my beloved English Setters for many years. Then we moved to a mountain ranch in Colorado where new adventures began with wolves, a Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ram and other unusual wildlife. Today I live with my wife Janet on a thoroughbred farm near Lexington, KY. We share our home with 4 dogs and 7 cats and one 35 year old Tennessee Walker. All were rescued in one manner or another. My belief's that many animals are angels will be reinforced after reading this book. |
