Introduction	I love dogs and tolerate cats. I am encouraged by brightly colored flowers cascading from thier flower boxes and baskets.
Interests	I like to read, bake pies, crochet, take long walks with a friend talking to God or each other as we go. Teaching God's word is a privilege and a joy. My favorite sound is the chatter, laughter, debate and teasing that goes on when all my kids are under one roof again.
Favorite music	I like to listen to Andrew Peterson when I am sad, Point of Grace when I am busy and Chris Rice when I am just hanging out.
Favorite books	Shattered Dreams by Larry Crabb taught me to submit my desires to Him as I watch out for false expectations from this life. The Beautiful Fight by Gary Thomas taught me that my eyes see this world very differently than God does and I need to study His word constantly to correct my sight. Counsel From the Cross by Elyse Fitzpatrick made me appreciate the love of my Father and the implication of living in light of the gospel. I love everything Dickens wrote because he understood the heart of man and the consequences of sin, and I love an unpredictable plot and a resolution at the end.
