| Introduction | My own web of stories begins in England and Italy, where I was born. How my English mum and Italian dad met is another, fantastically romantic story! The story of how we ended up in Mexico has to do with my dad's job. It was supposed to be for a year, and that year is turning into a lifetime. I think that growing up in a multicultural, tri-lingual household allowed my sisters and me to develop an ample worldview of life, but friends and guests will tell you it's hard to follow our conversations – we chat in ItalSpanGlish! I guess that's how my fascination with cultural expressions of art, traditions and beliefs developed, and now is fostered daily by Novica artists and team members across the globe. I am forever in their debt! I consider myself extremely lucky that my web of stories is interwoven with many people and experiences. I just may reveal some in future postings… |
