With a sound that appeals to fans of all ages, he has opened for the Wailer's, Ricky Skaggs, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, to name a few and is a featured artist on numerous radio station on the west coast. Justin Ancheta’s style combines such diverse influences as Thom York from Radiohead, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Nick Drake. Ancheta's music is not afraid to stretch a toe, and even a thigh, over the boundaries. The songs are down-to-earth and moving: the type of songs you catch yourself singing long after the concert is over. He has been featured at the Hawaii Spirit Festival, Spirit Garden, Esalen, and many other healing for change events. |
