Introduction	I am a modern mom to two awesome and amazing boys(one with autism and one without) and a "pretty cool" husband (private joke). Autism does not define me as a person or parent, but has sent me on some unexpected road trips (like when I moved my entire family across the country and into a century-old house I'd found on Craigslist-sight unseen- in order to have a chance at getting better services for my son). I enjoy interior design, writing, crafting, reading, exploring foods, art, animals, and sometimes even people! I have finally decided that the best thing I can do for my boys is to take care of me (I had to find me again, first)! I write this blog, Include Autism Now! as a therapeutic tool for myself--and hope that it helps others along the way! I also co-write (which really only equals helping with spelling) a new blog with my two sons called The Adventures of Amazing Sage and Super Scout.
Interests	Interior design, child development, art, animals, reading, autism advocacy, supporting families, self-help, yoga, local foods, chocolate...so many things, so little time!
Favorite movies	I loved Weird Science as a kid! Any of the John Hughes movies are AWESOME! (Can you say, "...stuck in the 80's?")
Favorite music	Foo Fighters, Weezer, Beastie Boys
Favorite books	I love self-help, inspirational books, and non-fiction books. My favorite books are actually children's books, though!!
