| Introduction | Hi, my name is Shani. I’m a happily married former teacher turned full time mother and homemaker. When I’m not busy acting as the family cruise director and household manager, I’m blogging about the things I love! I’m a passionate about all things home related, particularly design, crafting, cooking, and building things. People ask me all the time whether I have considered a career change or if I want to go back to teaching. The short answer is no. Being a mom is a full-time job. Throw in the homemaker duties and now I have two full-time jobs. But the thing is, I never really think of motherhood or homemaking as work. It’s just part of who I am. The homemaking part of my job is what this blog is really about. I’m always looking for inspiration and dreaming up ways to dress my nest for less!
