Introduction	I'm a southern girl, born and raised in Louisiana. I wanted to be a professional camper but my mom told me I was going to be a nurse and she started her brainwashing shortly after I was born. It worked. I've been a nurse for 37 years, working in a variety of settings, in a variety of roles. I'm currently a nurse practitioner working in corrections. It is the most challenging and entertaining of all my career experiences.
