| Introduction | . . .is the pen name of Jeffrey Paul Butterfield, known as simply “Jeff” to most or “J.B.” or “Jaybee” to his closest friends, though his quiet demeanor has scared some people enough to make them think he’s the guy at work who one day will come in with an Uzi and spray death while screaming “#!#@ you ALL.” Hence the other two affectionate terms listed above. He’s been in environments where it was sorely tempting, but doesn’t think he has it in him, though he will tell you we’re all capable of it. We’ll call him “J.P.” here so he can enjoy the illusion of self-worth and importance that calling oneself a “writer” gives. He’d be the first to tell you we all have our delusions. |
