Introduction I’m a Systems Architect at ANT and have been at the company for the last five years. I specialise in interactive digital television and DVB technologies, working on the development of architectures for new products as well advising customers and partners on how they can get the most out of the ANT Galio Platform in their TV networks. I am involved in the development of a number of industry standards such as the Open IPTV Forum, HbbTV and the UK DTG’s Connected TV work. I have also co-written a book called 'Interactive TV Standards: A Guide to MHP, OCAP and JavaTV', which explores why MHP and OCAP are the way they are and how to get the most out of them. I have a BSc in Computation from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. As the father of a five-year-old boy, I don’t have much spare time, but the free time I do have gets spent on photography, writing and DIY.
