| Introduction | I graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors in English and immediately put my degree to good use backpacking in Australia. When I realized I couldn't make a living as a beach bum, I returned to Canada to become a copywriter. A theatre addict, I travel to New York City to catch the latest Broadway musicals whenever I can. (Way too often as far as my bank account is concerned.) I also watch far too much TV — but I wouldn't have it any other way! The Next Competitor is my first young adult novel. |
