| Introduction | For me wine has always been a pretty simple pleasure: an enjoyable glass, accompanying a decent meal shared with the love of my life. Until recently, that is. The pleasure is still there, no worries, as is the rest of that trinity. It’s just no longer a simple one. I started reading about wine, wanting to know more about grape varieties, differences in terroir, vinification methods, élévateurs-négociantes, and taste. I even took a course (SWEN 2). Where will it end? I don’t know. I am still exploring. This blog will be my logbook during this voyage. Often in English, soms in het Nederlands. (I hope you like it.) |
