Introduction	Dawn dreamed of being a Teen Services Librarian from her second day of library school. Her first day of library school at University of Maryland was really confusing, so it took until the second day to realize that her YA Lit class was the BEST THING EVER. Luckily, she now spends her days at the Beaverton City Library buying fiction for the YA collection, scheming up great programs with the Teen Library Council, visiting classes to talk about books, and searching for that next great read. Her favorites include: The Luxe series by Anna Godbersen, anything by A.S. King, Gary Schmidt, Sherman Alexie, Sarah Dessen, Libba Bray, M.T. Anderson, and on and on. She’s a sucker for realistic fiction that packs a punch and historical fiction with great settings. Before returning to the west coast, she worked at the Washington County Free Library in Maryland.
