Ratey, Getting the Love You Want from: Harville Hendrix, PhD, The 10 Greatest Gifts I Give My Children by Steven W. Vannoy, Stephen King's On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft is both enlightening and engaging., The Shining by Stephen King had to be one of the best page turners I have ever read., Kids Say the Darnedest Things by Art Linkletter, All I Ever Really Needed to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Robert Fulgham, But I'll be Back Again by Cynthia Rylant. This book appeals to me on many levels. When I read it at Granny's house, where I had finally come back home to, I sat on the porch swing and cried because it brought me closer to many things I loved and lost as a child. We share family ties and childhood stomping grounds in the Appalachian Mountains.
