| Introduction | Trina Hines began her dance/performance training in her native Cleveland, Ohio. She has studied various dance forms throughout the major dance institutions, with professional companies in New York City. Ms. Hines has devoted over 3 years as a dance educator for New York City public schools and has advocated for the development dance programs within after-school programs and also, community centers. Experiences include: student researcher for Dance New Amsterdam, teaching artist for Education in Dance and the Related Arts, the Brooklyn Friends School; as well as a freelance performance artist. Ms. Hines holds a B.S in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College and is currently pursuing the M.A. in Dance Education from New York University's Steinhardt School. |
