| Introduction | I have been blind since birth and have wanted a guide dog from a very young age. On 22nd June 2007, i was matched with my first dog O J. I wanted to keep a diary of what the experience of training and owning a guide dog is like, and how it fits in with my everyday life. By doing this, i hope to talk to new people, hear their experiences, and help educate others about the importance of guide dogs in the lives of blind and visually impaired people. |
