Introduction	"Not all those who wander are lost." —J.R.R. Tolkein. This quote has literally made an impact on who I am—it is tattooed on my right upper arm. I didn't scar myself forever to be a stupid teenage rebel; I adorned myself with a mantra that I believe rings true in my life in innumerable ways. To me, this quote means that it is important for us as humans to sometimes go off the beaten path and explore the unknown in order to figure out what is important to us on the beaten path. I hope that this string of words will serve as a constant reminder as I circumnavigate the globe in under a year.
