| Interests | Markus is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, a Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin and a Senior Advisor at the Atlantic Council in Washington. He studied Philosophy, Politics & Economics at Heidelberg University, attended Sciences Po and holds a MSc and PhD from the London School of Economics. He worked for nearly two decades in a variety of research and advisory roles at Deutsche Bank in London and New York. Markus has also been a visiting scholar at the European University Institute in Italy and a fellow at Casa das Garças in Brazil. |
