| Introduction | If you start with the current post and read backwards: I am from Texas, and I currently teach at a school for elementary students with Learning Differences. I love it. I am working on my M.Ed. in Special Education. I am 30 years old, and I am single. Knowing these things will enhance your reading enjoyment. I used to teach 2nd grade at Chiang Rai International Christian School, hence the domain name, "She Teaches in Thailand." Posts are from July 2012 until... well, I still occasionally edit and decide to post some drafts I wrote while I was in Thailand. You should visit Chiang Rai, Thailand. One of the most gorgeous places on earth. My original blog was "Katie Goes to Kenya," so all posts from 2010 and earlier were about my life in Kenya. I lived at Tumaini Children's Home (meaning "Home of Hope), where I taught Grades 6 and 7 English Composition and Science. I took bucket showers. |
