| Introduction | In the twenty years I've lived here, I've learned to love the cultural patchwork that makes up Southern California. My background is in American history, although it has been years since I've taught it. Over the years, I've been a volunteer librarian at an elementary school, have helped to start and run an after school music program, lead the occasional hike in our beautiful foothills, and help out with The Chaffey Breeze, the student newspaper of Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga. |
