| Introduction | The Coorong is of important Aboriginal significance and is renowned for it's archeological sites. Among the features of the Coorong are the largest middens in the world - evidence of thousands of years of Indigenous occupation. Share in a Ngarrindjeri Cultural Experience on a one, two or three day tour tailored to suit. The three day wilderness and cultural tour lets you experience something of the daily lives of the Ngarrindjeri. Follow ancestral trails and gather cockles and crabs, visit the ancient midden sites, paddle the Coorong waterways, taste traditional foods and trek across the dunes to the ocean. Your experienced Aboriginal guide will introduce you to the medicinal uses of the plants. In the evening join your hosts around the campfire and listen to the stories of the Dreamtime. |
