Introduction	Alouette is a Luxemoter built in 1910 in Groningen, Holland. She is 23 meters long by 4.4 meters wide, and was first used as a cattle transporter, then as a shrimp fishing boat. In 2002, she was lovingly converted to a liveaboard barge. We are Randy and Deborah, two Americans from Colorado who escaped corporate life for an early retirement adventure cruising the canals of Europe.
