| Introduction | Halton Voluntary Action (HVA) is the umbrella body for the voluntary and community (not for profit) sector in Halton, UK. We are a registered charity. The opinions and views expressed on this blog are not necessarily those of Halton Voluntary Action as an organisation, nor do they necessarily reflect the organisation's policies. The name "Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards" is an homage to the Billy Bragg song, in which Billy asserts that people should get out in their community and make a difference. HVA provides support to the hundreds of Voluntary groups in Halton who are doing just that. |
