| Introduction | After having been a Librarian for over 25 years I have gone on to explore the more creative side of my nature. Whether it be Watercolour, Gold/Silversmithing, and now textile arts especially Shibori. I am fed by the need to create with my hands. This blog is a reflection of my progress, experiences, mistakes and triumphs. Currently I am working with pure silks and fine Merino wool fibres and dabbling in a little alchemy along the way. |
| Interests | Organic gardening, cooking, The arts in general, particularly Watercolour, and Japanese silk arts. Animals of all kinds, but my own dogs and cat, and the 'girls' - my 5 gorgeous Isa Browns. I am also addicted to fabrics - bit of a collector. |
