Introduction I was fortunate to have positions in my profession that allowed access to those who knew a great deal more than I, and knew the right stuff. This included my wife who shared the same profession. Musically, I hosted {and chose the music to play} a jazz program for some 15 years, in various venues across Canada. I have learned in understanding all things, one must learn to understand the "big picture" rather than parts. This takes some time and is about discovering wisdom, which really begins to develop about age 50..it is perhaps defined as "when you know certain things for sure, and not simply narcissistic knowledge that comes with youth. Also, when one ages, one really doesn't care what another cares of their opinions as they are comfortable with criticism feeling less of a need to defend themselves from anxiety.
Interests jazz, classical music, Sherlock Holmes, family
Favorite Movies Godfather, Guns of Navaronne, Fawlty Towers Complete, most anything directed by Hitchcock, of course Bogart in just about anything as well.
Favorite Music I have a great deal of jazz music, but sitting in a bar one evening with a world renowed jazz gentleman, we concluded that although we both had rather vast collections, we tended to play the same stuff over and over.
Favorite Books Book of Negroes, British mysteries, Anything by PD James, or Elizabeth George, or Rollo May\, esteemed Existential Psychologist/Psychiatrist.

Favorite Dog:Abby. a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog...a wonderful breed for family and kids..she is truly a member of the family, and, my wife is her best friend. We have added a new family member-Chapala is a puppy, another Mountain dog, and is fitting in beautifully. Climate Change is for real...we have lost considerable shoreline in the last few years.
