| Introduction | Susan Turner has been tutoring and training individuals in work and academic environments for more than 25 years. She earned a B.A. degree cum laude in psychology from Sonoma State University in California, with coursework in human development and education, and tutoring certification through the College Reading and Learning Association. From 1991-1993, she worked in the Sonoma State University Tutorial Program tutoring test preparation for CBEST, SAT and GRE. Ms. Turner tutored at-risk adolescents for the Sonoma County Department of Education. Since 1994, Ms. Turner has had a private tutoring service in Portland, working with students and their families of diverse backgrounds and ages. She taught Study Skills workshops and other classes at the Children’s Program Diagnostic Clinic in Portland.
