| Introduction | CCP was established by Liam Slevin, Edel O’ Reilly, Tadhg Slevin, Paul Harrington and Diane Harrington. Most of the collective began collaborating after finishing their degrees and discovered through working together in an informal context, that there was a strong diversity of disciplines within the group which allowed them to consider the potential for more ambitious projects. The first of these new projects was Moniker, an art and electronic music night which showcases a range of local DJs and VJs every month. The following event was 'The Eviction Show' at 129 Sunday's Well Road, which was an artistic intervention with a residential space. The main focus of CCP has always been to promote inter-disciplinary links between artists and peer organisations. Eva White, Fiona Kelly and Amanda Rice are artists who have been actively involved with CCP on a number of projects, in particular the opening of new gallery The Space and have officially joined its membership. |
