| Introduction | "The harder thing to do and the right thing to do are usually the same thing, nothing that has meaning is easy." I have 3rd stage Lyme disease, undiagnosed from @ 2002 to 2009. 2 Children during this time. Received oral antibiotics from Nov '09-Feb '11. Unfortunately, no co-infections were treated. Tried Rife. Natural treatment started with the Stephen Harrod Buhner protocols at the end of April '11 for myself & children. Started seeing a Naturopathic Dr. in Sept'12. It's a long road, especially after having it for so long. Don't expect miracles over night. Detox FIRST and keep detoxing throughout treatment. There are ups/downs/flares-whatever you want to call it; now I realize there are Spring and Fall flares too. Don't get discouraged-keep fighting! I am confident that eventually I will be better even if using just natural treatments and that there will be less damage to our bodies. ALWAYS find out if the LLMD treating you is ILADS.org affiliated/trained. Being treated by someone who doesn't really know what they are doing; reading what is in their text book (not much!) will put you in a worse position than you started. |
