| Introduction | My name is Krista Jefferies, and I have 15 years of teaching experience. I am currently a high school English teacher, as well as an Adjunct Professor at two of the local colleges here in New Jersey. In the photo with me is my husband, James. I love teaching. My purpose is not only to help students read, think, and write critically, but also to help them learn how to be successful in the future. There have been some really funny moments in class that have made me laugh. There have also been some truly fulfilling moments that have let me know I'm doing the right thing with my life. And, of course, there have been some extremely frustrating moments, to which I'm sure most teachers can relate. Hence, the title of this blog. The goal is to share the funny, the fulfilling, and the frustrating sides of teaching. Perhaps you can get a little laugh, or at least enjoy some of the heart-felt moments that happen in between those trying times of the daily grind. Thanks for reading! |
