Introduction	I am a mystery writer. I grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California. After earning my doctorate, I moved east to teach sociology. Upon retirement, I returned to the West, this time to New Mexico, the setting for a novel and several short stories I have written. Currently I divide my time between living in rural Florida and up-state New York.
