| Introduction | I've been at Trent University since 1994. I teach a variety of courses in environmental studies: on the science/policy interface, environmental history, and environmental issues in the developing world. I am also fortunate to be Chair of the ERS Program. We are Canada's leading undergraduate environmental science & studies program. We have 19 faculty -- the majority of whom are scientists, but also including people in the humanities and social sciences. We offer more than 90 courses, as well as 9 degree programs. In 2010 we became the first environmental program in Canada to be accredited by ECO Canada. In September 2011 we launched Canada's first B.A. and B.Sc. degree programs in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems. And we're busy working on several other new and interesting options for our students! |
