| Introduction | I am 37, I have 2 kids of my own, Ian 18 & Brodee 15 & a step-son Christopher 13. We live by the beach and love it. In 1986 I was diagnosed Ulcerative Colitis. In 1990 I had my colon removal, j-pouch creation and takedown 3 mos later. In 1994 I had a J-pouch revision and was doing pretty well until a few yrs ago when in 2008 I had multiple fistula repairs: seton drain, fibrin glue, temporary ileostomy w/AFP & Flap. April 2009 ileostomy reversal...2 weeks later fistula returned. So in Dec 2009 I opted for a Koch Pouch. This blog is about my adventures & a place for me to express my thoughts about it. |
