Introduction Raised in a home where food was king, I felt destined I would become a foodie. My mom was an amazing home cook, with a collection of Julia Child cookbooks as her "mentor." We ate 3 course meals (on weeknights) as a matter of fact and my parents constantly hosted dinner parties with ease. When we traveled as a family, our photo albums were filled with photos of dishes from various restaurants. I thought, "surely this is what most people do." Haha! I found out in my twenties that that's NOT the case at all. Fast forward 15 years and 3 kids later. There are no 3 course weeknight meals in my house, but we do host dinner parties (occasionally) and dine out as often as possible. Our travel revolves around eating at great restaurants all over the world and introducing fine foods to our kids (to their dismay).
