Interests	Staying alive; laughing; reading; cats (no, really?); music; singing. Oh, no, strike that last one. Playing games. Looking at the beauty of nature. Beauty in general.
Favorite movies	Lost in Translation of course! Oh - I don't know - I forget. Toy Story, Ice Age, just about any clever and witty animation. Yes, ok: romantic comedies and kids' stuff.

Favorite books	The Hobbit, Agatha Christie's Miss Marple stories (but I don't like Poirot), Les Fleurs du Mal (Baudelaire), Alcools (Apollinaire), The Book Thief (an all time great), Emma and other Jane Austen; lots of sci fi, fantasy etc. Plus whatever my favourite subject may be at the time, history of religion, linguistics, maths, prostitution in 19C London, you name it, I'm interested.
