| Introduction | I am an urban dweller - a true cosmopolitan in the real sense of the word.I guess that is why I love to travel and to stay a while in places that excite me. While I love to commune with nature and I enjoy the countryside, I do not think I can stay very long in a place where there is no tv., no hot water and no supermarkets.In that sense I am very much a city girl.Living in the farm would only be an option if it had the amenities of city living. My greatest passion - aside from my family, of course- is reading and writing. I particularly love historical novels and for the moment I can't seem to get enough of Wilbur Smith and Africa. I also paint and I garden a lot. I guess that is how I cope with the daily stresses of life. My priorities in life have always been my family, my students, my readers and my pets. I am a wife, a mother, a college teacher, a writer and an artist. |
