| Introduction | I am a Chartered Accountant and a part time retails investor. I like to analyze and search investment opportunities in Indian Capital Market during my free time. I believe that one should invest his/her hard money only after thorough due diligence of any investment opportunity. So in the course of investing my own money I do lots of research. Idea to write blogs strikes me when my research efforts gained critical mass. I thought that it would be good idea if fellow retail investor can also benefit from my research efforts and engage with me in a meaningful conversation regarding various opportunities in stock market. My investment philosophy is that retail investor can only make money if he follows sound investment practices and base his/her decision on the basis of intrinsic value of underlying security. This approach has led to birth of an idea called The Value Investing. I have been investing for more than 3 years and few of my successful picks are Confidence Petroleum, Gitanjali Gems, Ahmednagar Forging where I have almost doubled my money. There are many other stock which have given >50% return over a period of less than 11 months. |
