| Introduction | After fluttering about like a Dandelion Seed in the wind for many decades, a strong breeze blew me to Nashville, Tennessee where I have finally grown roots. I am the proud parent of the newly baked Arabella Kaliope Dixon (AKA the Chunkadora), and stumbling guardian of my 15 year old Peruvian Princess Niece, Anaise Kirsten Sacco Valdivia (say that three times fast). All of the blessings I have today, I only have God to thank for as not one of them was on my Bucket List. As the old saying goes “some of Gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers.” As my rather unconventional conventional newly established family discovers and creates its dynamics, I find myself precariously balancing the many guises I wear. I love all things Fantasy, Science Fiction, Douglas Adams and off the beaten path. I have a terrible Buffy the Vampire, Grimm, Once Upon a Time and crocheting addiction. I have NO, and I mean NO idea where I am headed or what my calling is, but to quote the late but great Dr. Seuss -"Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you." |
