| Introduction | Sasha Pimentel Chacón is the author of "Insides She Swallowed" (West End Press), a book of poems, forthcoming. Her poetry and nonfiction have appeared or are forthcoming in journals such as The American Poetry Review, Callaloo, Colorado Review, The Florida Review and The Dos Passos Review, among others. She holds an MFA from California State University, Fresno, where she studied as a Philip Levine fellow. She is the editor of BorderSenses and teaches creative writing at the University of Texas at El Paso.
