| Introduction | Chicano writer currently residing in Champaign, IL. I'm working on short fiction, a couple of novels, some poetry and non-fiction, all with a nod toward the Latino masters of the past and those who continue to write. My main focus, regionally, is the Southwest, and my main concerns involve left-leaning politics and the individual in a culture involving complimentary and contradictory roots (i.e. the so-called "Mexican-American" experience).
