Introduction | Thoughts of an ObGyn physician in Boston. Writing about what I have learned regarding how to find a job, and about interesting things in general. Writing to pass on the "know how", so that you do not have to repeat my mistakes. |
Interests | The business side of medicine - professional liability issues - teaching medicine - job search methods - efficiency in office practice -architecture |
Favorite Movies | Four Weddings and a Funeral, Star Wars, The Departed. The first two seasons of "Miami Vice". Something's Gotta Give (Jack Nicholson / Diane Keaton), There's Something about Mary, "Im Westen Nichts Neues" and "Die Bruecke"- two gruesome and profoundly impressing anti-war movies they showed us in middle and high school when I grew up in Germany. |
Favorite Music | Blues, piano Boogie, 50's Rock'n Roll (especially Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard) Reggae (the melodious kind, not the angry-man-shouting kind) mostly Roots-Reggae by Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh and Burning Spear. Some Rap. The waltzes by Johann Strauss (the son) and most of the music by Wolfgang Amadeus M. |
Favorite Books | David Sedaris: "naked" and "me talk pretty one day".... Carl Hiaasen - thank you for your hilarious novels! In Business: Neil Baum: "Marketing your Clinical Practice" - must read for any physician |
