Introduction Four years after challenging myself to run the length of Britain, I'm back again tackling what can only be described as a 'marathon' challenge.....one marathon is often far enough for many people...I'm going to be running upto 20 during 2012, including 3 marathons in 3 days, not just the once, but 4 times! Throw in London, Beachy Head, Clarendon Way and another few 'to be decided' marathons plus a 'once in a lifetime' involvement in an attempt to break a marathon relay world record... Bonkers you're thinking...not far from the truth, but I'm able to run and the pain will be temporary (I hope!). Those I'm running for face pain and suffering on a daily basis unfortunately. But, a little bit about myself...I'm hovering right in the middle of 40 and 50, am married to John who has suffered my mad ideas for 20 years, and live in Throop village in Bournemouth. Four years ago I ran from Lands End to John O'Groats and wrote a book about my adventures : "Where does that footpath lead?"...read it, it's quite good I'm told!
Interests That'll be running then...oh, and the great outdoors! Also enjoy horse racing, especially national hunt (ie over the jumps!)
