Introduction	We began exploring (drinking) wine in the mid to late 1990s, and by 2000 had developed not a habit, so much as a hobby. We started going to various wine tastings and learning more about wine - and there’s a lot to learn. We’re by no means experts. And we’re not technically in the trade. We simply enjoy learning about the different regions where grapes are grown and wine is made; learning about the different varietals of grapes and how they shape the flavor and feel of a wine; the different styles of winemaking, and how different aging processes can radically alter the way one particular variety of grape tastes.... Most of all, we enjoy drinking wine and occasionally waxing poetic about it. And so you know what you're getting yourself into..., we are generally biased toward old world style wines. That being said, our tastes certainly evolve over time and what we liked 10 years ago is not necessarily what we drink these days.
