Introduction	I am a scientist in search of my own space under the sun... My journey in science began with a story about Marie Curie which left me fascinated with her and eager to do something similar. I then studied plant biology for my undergraduate studies and worked on cancer biology for my doctoral dissertation. Today, as a post-doctoral fellow, I work on stem cells and regenerative medicine. I am fascinated with the edges and the juxtapositions at them. The edges of science, evolution, society, culture, art, mind and consciousness. I am an idealist who struggles to be practical and I love science.
