| Introduction | I am a wife and mother of three young men. I met my husband in the Navy, where we served together until the calling to be a stay at home mom projected a different path. My husband completed over twenty-four years in the Navy and I took care of the homestead, wherever in the world that happened to be. Along the way, I became a dental hygienist and much further down life's path became a Foster Adopt Mom of one really tough kiddo. He came to our family over eight years ago, which led to the inspiration for the name of my blog. It has been quite a journey that gave rise to a return to school in which I earned a BS in psychology. During the later part of this undertaking I happened on my very first hobby, the art of card making. I joined Stampin' Up! in August of 2016 and set out on a new adventure! |
