| Introduction | Buveh means "Grandmother" in the Uzbek language. My first grandchild was born when I was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Uzbekistan so I decided she would call me Buveh. Now I am Buveh to seven fantastic grandchildren, three girls and four boys. I am also a professional librarian. I have worked the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, UAE; one semester aboard The Scholar Ship on its maiden voyage; and at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University in Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; as well as at several libraries in the USA. Most recently, I worked at the College of the Marshall Islands, at Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands. |
