Introduction	Oy, this question again...as many times as I have done one of these "about me" sections of a profile you would think I would have it down by now, lol. But nope, not so much. It always leaves me scratching my head. I guess because I consider myself a work in progress and constantly in a state of flux. A few words for those aspects of me that pretty much remain constant, I love the act of creating, I sing when I wash dishes and when I am processing and chewing on life (whether the mouthful be a bitter one or a sweet one). I think I have a good sense about people. . .met more wonderful people then those I could truthfully do without. I love the city I live in, I am Brooklyn born and raised and I can't really imagine leaving or living elsewhere. Well, that's about it. Can't really think of much else to say.
Interests	I have many interests. . .I love creating visual art, jewelry and crafting dolls, I follow the workings of politics, I love to read, listen to music, spend time with friends and family and practice playing guitar to name a few of my interests.
Favorite movies	"The Color Purple", "The Fisher King", "To Have And Have Not", "To Be Or Not To Be" (the Mel Brooks version), "The Cook, the Thief, his Wife and her Lover", films with Abbott and Costello (especially "Hold That Ghost"), "The Lady In Water" and "The Scent Of Green Papaya". I azm also a sucker for horror films and will rush out to see anything new in the horror genre.
Favorite music	I love music with engaging lyrics more so than a catchy beat. I also love those songs done by singers with distinctive voices and a unique way of delivering their songs. I like mostly songs by singer-songwriters. Joni Mitchell, Bob Marley, Ricki Lee Jones, John Waits, Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, Jill Scott, Journey, The Motels, to name a few.
Favorite books	I like reading old fashioned drawing room mysteries, like those written by Conan Doyle, Christie and others. I like books that take away and allow me to feel connected with the characters and their surroundings. I like John Irving, Octavia Butler and others. I also love the poetry of Nikki Giovanni, Maya Angelou and others.
