Introduction	My name is Jameson, and I've never really known what I've wanted to do with my life. I've been a farmhand, a security guard, an EMT/firefighter, and a sous chef, each job ending fruitlessly and far too quickly. A year ago, I became a Spanish teacher at a local high school and found what I believed to be my calling. A few months and a few cuts to the school budget later, and that job ended as well. I was disheartened and frustrated. I was growing tired of American culture, the American economy, and all the dead ends they were throwing me in my search for a niche. I was also quite sick of being 24 and living under my parents. Sometime around early August in 2011, I decided to pursue a crazy little dream of mine--a dream I'd had since two semesters abroad in college: Live and work in a foreign country teaching English. Armed with a bachelor's degree in Spanish & Hispanic Studies and a a few street smarts, I struck out for Cusco, Peru to make my way and begin a new life: A Life Gone South.
