| Introduction | Despite the fact that we both grew up in the same hometown and even the same ward in church, Brent and I met for the first time about five years ago. He was back home for the summer doing an internship at the power plant and taught my Sunday school class. My hair was such a mess that day and I was in a very bad mood, but for some lucky reason he asked me out and we began dating. After about nine months, we got married. We spent the next year in Provo where I worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and Brent finished his engineering degree at BYU. After Brent graduated, we were very fortunate to be able to move back home where he was offered a job at the power plant. We are now back in Oak City and have recently welcomed a new addition to our family. Austin Travis Smith was born on March 28th 2009. He is truly a blessing in our life. |
