| Introduction | I spent the last 40 years as a human resources professional and thought leader; for most of that time I was CHRO for Wynn Resorts' casinos worldwide. Currently, I am President of Strategic Development Worldwide (SDW), a global management advisory services firm, and Founder and Partner of Tiny Classroom Training, providing online management soft skills courses anytime, anywhere. I write (this blog and other motivational materials) and lecture on Human Capital Management. I live in Las Vegas and the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. I am an avid musician, hiker, canoeist, book enthusiast and grandfather. Note: I've been writing an Arte of Motivation message every Monday through Friday since 2009. From 2009 through 2017 I only posted 1 a week here, attached to a longer personal message about life that week. Starting in 2018, I began posting each day's message here and stopped writing my weekly missive. That's what's contained in the messages posted in the archive below.
