| Introduction | I started this blog to showcase bonsai stands that I have created. I initially started making the stands for my own use as they weren't readily available in the UK, and imported Japanese stands were very expensive. There are already many talented people manufacturing tables for bonsai displays so I decided that making root stands (ne-taku) and wooden boards (ji-ita) was the route I wanted to take. I am now making stands to commissioned shapes and sizes for clients.
